RESERVATION POLICY

Reservations made over the telephone or via email must be guaranteed with a 50% deposit on a credit card or bank transfer. Payment of the remaining balance is required on arrival. Reservations made online via the Monte Da Japonica website will require payment in full during the booking process and can be refunded subject to the Cancellation Policy.

CHECK-IN/DEPARTURE

Your accommodation will be available from 3pm and we ask that you vacate by 11am on the day of departure. If you wish to arrive early or stay late we may be able to arrange this with no charge. We are, of course, more than happy to look after your luggage if you wish to extend your day of arrival or departure.

GUARANTEE POLICY

We take full prepayment for the accommodation element of all stays.

SMOKING

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all internal parts of Monte Da Japonica.  If you are found to have been smoking, in your accommodation a €50 charge will be charged to your credit card.

WIFI

Free wi-fi is available throughout the property.

MOBILE PHONE COVERAGE

There is good mobile phone coverage, especially on the Vodafone network. The quality of other networks can be variable.

  CANCELLATION POLICY  

Should you wish to make an amendment or cancel your stay, please do so at least 72 hours prior to arrival so that a full credit can be offered towards a future stay and to avoid cancellation charges. We would prefer not to charge for cancellations but will do so if we cannot sell a room that has been cancelled. In the event of cancellations for which we cannot find another guest, we will charge 100% of the room rate to the credit card number you have given us. If you need to cancel your booking as a direct result of Covid-19 travel restrictions please be assured we can cancel your booking or transfer your booking to another suitable date with no charge.

DOGS

There are very friendly resident dogs at Monte da Japonica and we welcome house-trained dogs subject to a fee of €25 per stay.   

YOUR SPECIAL THINGS

We regret that we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage to personal items during your visit. We therefore recommend that valuables are not left unattended.

SWIMMING

Guests use the swimming pool entirely at their own risk and under no circumstances should children be allowed to swim unsupervised. No running or diving is allowed.

DAMAGES

In the event of any damage or loss to the contents of your room, including stains to any of the soft furnishings, carpets and rugs, we reserve the right to charge the credit or debit card used to book your reservation with either the full cost of repairing/cleaning such item(s) or, if this is not possible, the replacement cost with new.
